Before you start cleaning the oven, you need to prepare it for the cleaning process. Before you start cleaning, you should ventilate the room where the oven is located to get rid of any odors and fumes.
Steaming
The steaming process will help to remove dirt and grease from the interior surfaces of the oven as efficiently as possible. To do this, follow the instructions:
1. Pour water onto a baking tray and place it on the bottom of the oven.
2. Turn on the lower heating element and convection and set the temperature to 100 degrees.
3. Keep the oven at this temperature for 1 hour. During this time, the dirt and grease will soften perfectly under the influence of steam.
After steaming, apply the cleaning agent to the inside of the oven. Spread the cleaner evenly, paying particular attention to greasy and dirty areas. Use a special sponge or cleaning cloth to thoroughly remove any dirt deposits. Afterwards, rinse the surfaces with a damp cloth or sponge to remove any residual cleaner and then dry with a dry cloth.
Be careful when spraying or applying the cleaner, generally oven cleaners may contain alkalis, if you are spraying, take care to protect your respiratory system and ventilate the room after use.
Once you have cleaned your oven, don’t forget to put back all the removable items such as the racks and baking trays. Now that you’ve completed the procedure, your oven will not only be clean, but also ready to be used to cook delicious meals for you and your family.
